Ingrédients
  • Dates – Maître Prunille or JA
  • 250 g flour
  • 400 g butter
  • 500 g fine semolina
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 12.5 cl orange blossom water
  • 50 g butter
  • 4 tbsp orange blossom water
Preparation

Quickly mix the semolina, flour, softened butter, a pinch of salt and orange blossom water to make a smooth dough. Form the dough into a ball and leave to rest in the fridge for an hour.

Prepare the filling by coarsely chopping the dates, then cook them with the butter and orange blossom water for 10 minutes over a low heat. Leave to cool.

Divide the dough into egg-sized balls and shape the biscuits, filling them with the date filling. Use a wooden mould to form the biscuits or use a biscuit cutter to cut out the dough and assemble the biscuits.

🔥 Bake the biscuits on a buttered tray in a medium oven for 25 minutes at 180°C.
